Interestingly, Matthew highlights how the strength of the Pound has limited the damage to sterling markets.<\/p>\n<p>Next, Matthew looks at the performance of the European and Gilt markets which shows a particularly comforting recovery in the Gilt market in October climbing from -30% to -22% in 3 weeks. It appears that the market might be in favour of the new Prime Minister with things starting to take a turn for the better.
