At Buckingham Gate each of us has only one job – to ensure that you receive an exceptional financial planning service. Instead of having a single person dealing with each client, we work as a team to ensure that you always have a subject matter expert working on your case. While all of this is happening in the background, you will have a named point of contact should you need to get in touch.

We will only begin working with a client where we feel that we can add real value to their financial situation and provide a high quality service. This way you can be sure you are getting value for money from your financial planning fee.

We build relationships on trust and transparency

We hope to build a long-term relationship with our clients built on mutual trust and respect. Your financial planner will be your trusted source of advice for all things financial.

We have designed our fee packages to be simple to understand and compare. We will write to you before we commence any work on your behalf to set out the fees you will have to pay for our services.

In the very unlikely event that we make a mistake, or we become aware of an error on behalf of a third party, we will notify you immediately and explain the steps we will take to put things right.

We keep things simple

Our aim is to cut through the numerous layers of complexity inherent in the financial markets and present our advice to you in a simple, concise manor. In particular we try to make our reports to you interesting and engaging so that you actually want to read through them. This way you will have a full understanding of our recommendations and the reasons why they are suitable for your circumstances.

We subscribe to a formal code of ethics because we want to, not because we have to

Our professional body, The Personal Finance Society, sets out a code of ethics for members to follow. At Buckingham Gate we have embraced this code and integrated it at all levels of the business. We promise to treat all of our clients fairly and never abuse the large amount of trust clients place in us when engaging our financial planning services. We make promises to our clients every day. Whether that is a simple commitment to call back at a certain time or an explanation as to how an investment should perform. When we make a commitment to a client, we take this extremely seriously and always aim to exceed our clients expectations.
