Your professional background (previous jobs, experience etc etc)
I started my career in retail after finishing college and worked my way up to a managerial position before deciding I wanted to go back into education. I then went on to study a Business Management with Finance degree and alongside it worked as an administrator in a city law firm. After finishing University, I knew that I wanted to work in the financial sector and shortly after applied for a financial administrator role at Buckingham Gate.
Specialist areas of interest and expertise
An area that I am specifically interested in is effective retirement planning as I don’t believe enough of the population is aware of its growing importance with the increase in average life expectancy. I look forward to helping clients make the most out of their retirement in the future.
Why did you join Buckingham Gate
I joined Buckingham Gate after a member of my family became a client and spoke so highly of the service they had received. I did some research into the company and the role and thought it would be a great next step for me. Since joining last year, I have learnt so much and can’t wait to see what the future will hold at Buckingham Gate.
When not in work you like to?
When not in work I enjoy spending time with friends and family and cooking lots of yummy food for them. I also love to travel and spend lots of time on the beach, reading and swimming.
An interesting fact about you?
I love roller coasters and have been on Stealth at Thorpe Park over 20 times.
