Your professional background (previous jobs, experience etc etc)
Having grown up in different countries, it was inevitable that I would end up working in the hospitality industry where I could continue to travel and work internationally. I have been fortunate to have had the experience of working in 5-star luxury hotels in various departments such as Guest Relations and Events. As an Events Manager for the last 6 years, I have planned amazing events ranging from something as simple as a 10 person dinner to 2 day conferences with 700 attendees each day.
Specialist areas of interest and expertise
All my roles have been directly engaging with customers and this is one aspect that I have loved most about working in the hospitality industry, getting the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. Providing excellent customer service and making guests feel welcome is what I am passionate about and strive to achieve no matter where I am.
Why did you join Buckingham Gate
I wanted to be a part of a growing team in a completely new industry so I could learn but where I could also utilise my customer service and event management skills I have gained from the hospitality industry.
When not in work you like to?
Be outside (providing the weather is nice!). Even if it is just going for a walk or sitting in the park, I love to be outdoors!
An interesting fact about you?
One of my hobbies is Dragon Boating! Although, a bit difficult to do in central London, when I was living in Dubai, I was part of a Dragon Boat team and we even qualified to compete internationally in Korea!
